Sayings from my father

When I was a kid growing up in a Navy family, my father Larry instilled pearls of wisdom. He also had little sayings, I swore I would never tell my children. I am slowly turning into my dad. Yesterday I caught myself saying, My house My rules! wow where did that come from ? Or, Cause I said so that's why. Never said I was progressive. My favorite is Who ever said life was fair? Yes Dad, pearls was wisdom. Well Dad is still kicking at 76 and still married to Mom after 51 Years. Way to go folks !! He had us 6 kids in church every times the doors were open. Taught me family was important and take pride in your country. He served over 20 years in the Navy. I did 6. I loved every minute of it. Rain,or shine. Thanks Dad. Pearls of wisdom.
